What is it? 

This course will prepare the students for the Occupational English Test (OET). 

The Occupational English Test is an international English language test for the healthcare sector. 

 

Who recognises OET results? 

OET results are recognised by healthcare boards and councils, in the UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore and Dubai as proof of English language proficiency.

  

Who is it for? 

OET has been developed specifically for 12 healthcare professions:

Dentistry, Dietetics, Medicine, Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Optometry, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, Podiatry, Radiography, Speech Pathology and Veterinary Science.  Find out how the Occupational English Test is based on typical workplace scenarios in your profession.

• The course gives students a grounding in all 4 modules of the OET exam; Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking. 

• The objective of the course is to give students a grounding in exam technique and to familiarise them with the format of the exam and the questions they will face.
